“Anything that requires computing usually requires big computing these days, whether it’s modelling or verifying experimental results or processing data from experiments,” said Danny Gruner, SciNet’s chief technical officer of software. “We’re a big centre for processing data from the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, (Switzerland).”
